ARC Review of Tremble by Jus Accardo

Goodreads Summary:

Dez Cross has problems. She’s almost eighteen and on the verge of losing her mind thanks to the drug Denazen used to enhance her abilities. People close to her have turned their back on the underground and are now fighting for the wrong side. And then there’s Kale... Things couldn’t get any worse.

Until of course, they do. Denazen is about to start a new trial—this one called Domination—and it works. But that means out with the old and in with the new. The order has been given to terminate all remnants of the second trial—including Dez. The good news is that there’s a survivor from the original trial. A woman who’s blood may hold the cure for the second generation of Supremacy kid’s defect. But the underground Sixes aren’t the only ones who know about her….

Cross is willing to throw everything he has to keep Dez from getting the cure—including the one thing that might tear her apart from the inside out.

My Review:
I was blown away by this book. I couldn't put it down. I found myself reading it in the movie theater because I had to know what was going to happen. Tremble picks up not to long after Toxic left off. Dez and her group are looking for a way to get the cure while Kale has been taken by Denazen. the Undergroud group quickly learns that the other members of the Supremacy trials are being issues kill orders. So they work on trying to save them. They aren't able to save them all. However Dez runs into a surprising couple. Kale and Roz...Yea, I was shocked at this, about what they did to Kale. I feel like him and Dez are soul mates but, at the same time they have so much crap happen to them! Ugh! I have a feeling it will never be easy for them. The cure is still a long ways out for The Undergrounds. They need to find a particular person to try to make their own. It is proving to be a huge problem. Lives are at stake. People will die and have died. What Denazen did to Kale makes things harder yet. Will Dez and Kale ever be the same? How many more innocent people have to die?

We get to see a lot of our favorite characters make appearances in Tremble. Alex is still one of my favorites. I love his attitude. I don't really like Jade but, she had a couple redeeming statements in this book. I still don't like her though. Also Brandt is back!! Yay! I just loved his character in Faceless and I was super happy to get to read about him. Devin even made a brief appearance. They all work together to try to obtain what they need to create a cure. Some of the Supremacy kids are showing severe symptoms. Even though she hates to admit it, Dez is too. Her time is running out.

I love Kale. I have from book one. I felt so bad for Dez to have to go through what she did in Tremble. Not only is she terrified that she's starting to show symptoms but, Kale is not her Kale. There was a ton of weight on her shoulders. And you know she never really broke down. She is a snarky strong person who, I have no doubt, would die for those she loves. I think Kale is very much the same. I am convinced that their love is so strong that it can't be broken. No matter how hard they try. Trust me, they try hard.  I really hope they get a happily ever after.

I loved this book. Probably more then Toxic. Things change so much during this book. So many secrets are unleashed. People's hearts are broken and people die. Lives are changed forever in this installment. I recommend you read it as soon as it is released!
